This 15 in covered oval roaster is ideally suited for a 8-pound or 10-pound roast or chicken. It has a unique construction in which porcelain is fused to the steel at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit producing a non-porous, inert glass surface that is naturally non-stick. Since the glass surface is inert and will not absorb foods, the taste is not altered like it can be with other surfaces. Its dark interior absorbs all the oven's energy, the steel core evenly distributes the heat and the glass interior doesn't alter the taste.
